On September 30, China MCC solemnly held a national flag-raising ceremony at the MCC Building to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, offering sincere blessings to the great motherland. Chen Jianguang, a member of the Party Leadership Group and Vice President of China Minmetals, Secretary of the Party Committee of MCC Group, and Chairman of both MCC Group and China MCC, attended the ceremony and delivered a speech. Yan Aizhong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of MCC Group and China MCC, presided over the ceremony.
At 10:00 a.m., the national flag-raising ceremony officially began. Accompanied by the stirring melody of the March of the Volunteers, the flag-bearer raised the flag vigorously, and the bright red five-starred flag rose slowly. All participants stood solemnly, sang the national anthem loudly, gazed at the national flag with deep affection, and wished the great motherland prosperity and progress.
In his speech, Chen Jianguang noted that despite numerous challenges, the Communist Party of China has united and led the people of all ethnic groups to achieve rapid economic development and long-term social stability, painting a magnificent historical picture. The Chinese nation has experienced a great leap from standing up, to getting rich, to becoming strong, and a powerful new China now stands tall in the east of the world. MCC people have actively contributed to the construction of a strong nation, writing a history of entrepreneurship and reform aimed at building a powerful nation.
Chen Jianguang emphasized that all cadres and employees should unite more closely around the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core, remain steadfast in their guidance by Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, thoroughly implement the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, firmly uphold "Two Establishments" and practice “Two Safeguards”. We should always bear in mind the "Two Big Pictures" and remember the "Major Issues of the Country", firmly grasp the primary task of high-quality development, thoroughly implement the "Five Core Essentials", continuously consolidate and optimize the "One Core, Two Subjects, Five Characteristics" business system, effectively enhance the core functions of the corporation and improve its core competitiveness. We should adhere to promoting industrial innovation through scientific and technological innovation, focus on serving national strategies, main responsibilities, and core businesses, serve the construction of core competitiveness, value creation, and new productive forces, and aim at key areas and frontier directions of the industry to intensify scientific research. Over 200 people attended the national flag-raising ceremony, including members of the leadership teams of China MCC, cadres above the deputy division level of the headquarters, some members of the leadership teams of subsidiaries, and employee representatives.
