On October 22, China MCC convened the Marketing Promotion Conference for Saudi Arabia (Middle East) in Jeddah via "on-site + video" format. Zhu Guangxia, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of China Metallurgical Group Corporation (MCC Group) and Metallurgical Corporation of China (China MCC), delivered a speech. Wang Bo, Director of the Overseas Engineering and Mining Management Department, presided over the conference and provided a summary.
On behalf of MCC Group, Zhu Guangxia extended regards to the front-line cadres, employees, and their families in the Middle East market. He also, in light of the market development in the first three quarters, proposed five key work requirements for the Middle East market development in the coming period. First, we should strengthen benchmarking learning to enhance the sense of urgency in developing the Saudi Arabian market; second, we should clearly understand the market environment to enhance our capabilities in the Saudi Arabian market; third, we should ensure project performance to enhance our ability in "On-site Circular Market"; fourth, we should summarize experiences to enhance our risk prevention and resolution capabilities; fifth, we should maintain clarity to enhance our awareness of high-quality and high-level marketing.
During the conference, nine subsidiaries reported on their Middle East market development efforts, and the 23rd Metallurgical Construction Group of Minmetals shared insights on Saudi Arabian market development. Wang Bo presented work suggestions during the summary of the conference.
Approximately 100 people attended the conference, including the heads of the Overseas Engineering and Mining Management Department and subsidiaries such as Zhu Xiaofei and Fei Lidong, corporate leaders responsible for overseas business, overseas marketing directors, and marketing specialists from the Middle East.
